A Donegal Town woman died yesterday from injuries she sustained in a three-car collision which occurred almost three weeks ago. 64-year-old Lily Bustard, of Clar, Donegal Town passed away yesterday at Letterkenny General Hospital.Her car had been involved in an accident near Clar Church on the Donegal Town to Ballybofey Road on the evening of Friday 12 September. Investigations are continuing this week into incidents of criminal damage in Frosses. Tyres were slashed on a number of vehicles which were parked outside a residence in the town in the early hours of Sunday morning. An estimated 500 euro worth of damage was caused. Gardai have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
The N15 road between the Lidl store at Drumlonager, Donegal Town and Clar church remained closed on Saturday morning following a three vehicle collision which occurred on Friday evening.Three people were injured in the collision, one of whom is said to be in a serious condition. A Donegal mother whose daughter went missing in Wexford ten years ago will this weekend unveil a plaque in her memory. Fiona Sinott, who would have celebrated her 30th birthday on Wednesday, disappeared from Bridgetown, Co. Wexford in February 1998. She was 19 and a mother of one when she went missing. Her mother Mary, who is originally from Killybegs, will be there for the unveiling of the plaque at 2pm in Wexford tomorrow.
